Getting Started: Onboard Your Property

Joining Lily lanka is simple and completely free of charge.

Step 1. Sign Up

Visit www.lilylanka.com or open the Lily lanka App and click "List Your Property."

Then click on the "Create Partner Account" Button.

After that, click on the Sign Up button.

Please add the following details to sign up:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Phone Number (+94XXXXXXXXX)
  • Email Address
  • Password

By continuing, please confirm that you agree to Lily lanka's Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Step 2. Sign In

Please enter your Email and Password to continue.

Step 3. Provide Your Property Details

In this step, you'll fill in your property and contact information to complete your registration

Please ensure that all details are accurate to facilitate smooth verification and payment processing.

1. First screen

"What type of property are you listing?"

You are shown four main categories:

  • Homes Vacation homes, villas, entire houses.
  • Apartment Furnished flats rented as a whole unit.
  • Hotels Hotels, B&Bs, guest houses, hostels, resorts.
  • Unique Places Treehouses, cottages, boats, tents, etc.

As an example, if you select Hotels


2. Second screen

"Select best fit for your place"

After selecting Hotels, the system asks which specific hotel type property you are listing:

  • Hotel Standard lodging with multiple room types.
  • Resort Full-service property with leisure amenities.
  • Guest House Small, stylish hotel with personalized service.
  • Hostel Budget stays with shared dorms.
  • Boutique Hotel Small, stylish hotel with personalized experience.
  • Bed & Breakfast Budget stays with shared dorms.

3. Third screen

"About your Hotel"

Now the system requests details about your hotel

    Hotel Name

    A text field where you enter the name guests will see.

    Are you a property management company or part of a chain?

    Choose Yes or No.

    You selected No.

    Star Rating of the Hotel

    Select from 1 to 5 stars by clicking the star icons.

    Navigation Buttons

    Previous (go back)

    Continue (proceed).


4. Fourth screen

"Where is your property?"

This step collects the full physical address of your hotel and confirms it on a map.

City *

Enter the city where the hotel is located.

Example: Colombo, Nuwara Eliya, Galle, etc.

Province *

Select the province.

Example: Western, Central, Southern, etc.

Street Address *

Enter the main address.

Example: No. 24, Lake Road

Address Line 2 (optional)

Additional directions or landmarks.

Example: Near XYZ Temple / Opposite ABC Mall

ZIP / Postal Code *

Enter your area's postal code.

Example: 10115

Confirm Location on Map

Below the address fields, you see an interactive map.

  • You can either click the map to place the red pin at your exact property location.
  • The system will auto-fill or verify the address based on where you place the pin.
  • Make sure the pin is precisely on your hotel's actual building or entrance.

5. Fifth Screen

Property Details (Explained)

This screen asks you to provide operational and service information about your hotel. Each section helps guests understand what to expect during their stay.

A. Check-in / Check-out Time

You select:

  • Check-in time (e.g., 02:00 PM)
  • Check-out time (e.g., 11:00 AM)

These times will be displayed to guests so they know when they can arrive and must leave.

B. Access

You select the access options your hotel provides. Typical choices include:

  • Car park
  • Keyless access
  • Front desk (24-hour)
  • Private check-in/out

You can click "Add more" if your property has additional access features.

C. Amenities & Services

Select the services and amenities available at the hotel. Common options include:

  • Air Conditioning
  • Bar
  • Breakfast Included
  • Gym
  • Parking
  • Restaurant
  • Swimming Pool
  • Room Service
  • Beach Access
  • Free WiFi
  • Laundry
  • Pet-Friendly
  • Spa

You can click "Add more" if your property has additional access features.

D. Payment Information

You select which payment methods your hotel accepts:

  • American Express
  • MasterCard
  • Visa
  • Cash
  • UnionPay

Additional payment options can be added if needed.

E. Refund Policy

You must choose one cancellation/refund policy. The available policies shown are:

1. Refundable up to 1 day before check-in

  • Guest cancels free of charge until 1 day before check-in.
  • Cancelling within 24 hours of arrival = 100% charge

2. Refundable up to 3 days before check-in

  • Guest cancels free of charge until 3 days before check-in.
  • Cancelling within 72 hours of arrival = 100% charge

3. Non-refundable

  • Guest pays 100% penalty regardless of when they cancel.

7. Seventh Screen

Property & Room Photos

This step allows you to upload images that will appear on your hotel's listing. Photos are essential because they directly affect guest trust and booking conversions.

A. Property Photos (1 required)

This section is for uploading photos that represent the overall hotel.

You can upload:

  • Exterior building photos
  • Lobby / reception area
  • Common spaces (e.g., pool, restaurant, gym)
  • Overall ambiance shots

Requirements:

  • At least 1 mandatory photo.
  • .JPG or PNG format
  • Maximum file size: 10 MB per photo
  • Avoid blurry photos, text box or distracting and chopping photos

B. Room Photos

This section is for uploading pictures of the rooms you are offering.

You can upload photos for each specific room type you've added.

Recommend including:

  • Bed / sleeping area
  • Bathroom
  • Balcony / view
  • Amenities (desk, TV, wardrobe, etc.)

Requirements:

  • .JPG or PNG
  • Max 10 MB
  • At least one photo per room type is recommended (though the screen may not strictly require it)

8. Eighth Screen

Account Details

This step collects your personal, contact, address, and banking information. These details are used for identity verification and receiving payouts.

The screen is divided into four main sections:

A. General Information

1. First Name *

Enter your given name.

Example: Kevin

2. Last Name *

Enter your surname.

Example: Silva

3. Nationality *

Select your country of nationality from the dropdown.

B. Contact Information

1. Phone Number *

Enter your active mobile number.

Example: +94 77 123 4567

This number will be used for account verification and support.

2. Language Preference

Choose the language you prefer for communication.

Example: English

C. Address Information

This section is for uploading photos that represent the overall hotel.

Step 4. Submit Your Registration Form

Once all required details are filled out and reviewed, click Submit to complete your registration.

Step 5. Verification

Review Process

Once your registration form is submitted, our team will carefully review your details and documents to ensure they meet our verification standards.

This process typically takes 24 to 48 hours.

Email Notification

You'll receive an official confirmation email once your property or service has been successfully verified and approved.

Step 6. Go Live!

Once approved, your hotel will instantly appear on the Lily lanka app and will be open for bookings from both local and international travellers.

Payments & Revenue

Commissions

Only 12% per confirmed booking, the lowest in the industry.

Payments

You'll receive funds directly to your registered bank account within 3 to 5 business days after guest checkout.

Invoices + Reports

View your payment history, commissions, and performance reports directly from your Lily lanka Dashboard.

Safety, Trust & Compliance

Your hotel and guest data are fully protected.

Lily lanka is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified and adheres to PDPA guidelines for data protection.
